recanRSVP is operated by Recan (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in the United Kingdom. recanRSVP is a platform that allows event organisers to manage guest lists, send RSVP invitations, and track responses.

By creating an account or using recanRSVP, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

To create events and manage guests, you must register as an organiser. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing your account
• All events and guest data you manage through your account
• Ensuring you have appropriate permission to contact guests by email
• Complying with UK GDPR and any other applicable data protection law

You must be at least 18 years old to create an organiser account.

Your organiser account may be used across Recan-operated organiser services, including recanRSVP and recanSNAP, where the same login is supported.

This shared account setup is used to provide organiser login, account management, subscription administration, and movement between related Recan products without requiring a separate organiser account for each service.

When you use another Recan organiser product, additional product-specific features, limits, and policies may apply alongside these Terms.

When you add guests to an event, you confirm that you have a lawful basis for holding their contact details and that they expect to receive communications from you regarding the event.

Guests retain the right to request deletion of their data. You are responsible for honouring such requests in a timely manner.

You must not use recanRSVP to:

• Send unsolicited or spam messages to guests
• Collect personal data without a lawful basis
• Attempt to circumvent the platform's security measures
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Guest personal data — including names, email addresses, and RSVP responses — is automatically deleted 30 days after the event date. Organiser event records are retained until the organiser deletes them or closes their account. We are not liable for any data you choose to delete before this point.

We aim to keep recanRSVP available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, or operational reasons with reasonable notice where possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of recanRSVP, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms & Conditions, without prior notice.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@recanhq.co.uk. Upon closure, your account data and event records will be deleted.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
